Various standards for test of Plastics, Wires & Cables, and Polymer Compounds require test samples of specific shape and size for conducting test on different materials. Hydraulic Hot press is a basic apparatus in sample preparation like Dumb-bell shaped specimen for test on a Tensile Testing machine. A uniform sheet of the material is formed in the press from which different test samples of specific shapes and sizes can be easily made with minimum of effort and wastage of raw material. |
Four platens (two sets). Two individual dies can used to make two samples at one time (Pressure will be same both both set of dies).
Hydraulic Hot Press of 250 KN force capacity fitted with a manually operated hydraulic oil pressure pump assembly
Pressure gauge : Analog : Range 0-250 KN , LC 1.25 KN at 82.5 RAM Diameter.
Two electrically heated platens of 8” x 8” size (200 mm x 200 mm)
Separate Digital Temp. Indicating Controller with sensor for both platens
Heaters : Rod Heaters (4 in each platen), 250 / 350 W each.
Cooling system in the steel platens (for rapid cooling)
Operates on 220 VAC 50-60 Hz. Total load 4 KW (max), 16 Amps.

The Hydraulic Press applies temperature up to 200oC and Force up to 25 KN to press and melt any sample to form sheet as per the mold used.
